We looked at some ‘Mapping History’ websites.We read from Ian Gregory’s online book, A Place in History. After looking at the Mapping History Project website, we discussed in class the role of animation and interactivity in exploring historic information, representing time and change, and sources for ‘mapping history’.We also did a search for sources, both online and in print, which speak to ‘Mapping the History of New England’ . Each of these efforts form the basis of our blog entries on ‘Mapping the Historic’.
